Dr. Ed Laymance

Impact & Counseling Director, LPC, LPC-S, LMFT, BCPCC

Dr. Laymance is Director of the Impact Counseling & Guidance Center. He holds a PhD in Education, is a licensed professional counselor, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a board certified professional Christian counselor. With over forty years of ministerial, educational and counseling experience, Dr. Laymance leads a team of qualified counselors to help you in "finding the way."


Nik Andonov

MAMFC, LPC

Nik is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies with a major in Counseling from The Criswell College in 1997 and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. He came to the United States from Europe in 1993 to follow God’s call in becoming a Christian Counselor. Nik has experience working with families, children, and teens in crisis, behavioral issues, separation anxiety, and men seeking freedom from sexual addiction. He has over 12 years of management experience and enjoys helping people with work related issues. He also finds fulfillment in partnering with individuals and couples in their journey to find hope and healing.


Natalie Bartoo

MACC, LPC, MT-BC, BCPCC

Natalie is a licensed professional counselor and board certified Christian counselor. She earned a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has worked with Dr. Laymance since 2003. She counsels children, teenagers, adults, couples and families with a wide variety of presenting issues. As a board certified music therapist, she has worked with geriatrics, psychiatry, troubled children/teenagers, and currently practices music therapy with children/teenagers/young adults with disabilities. It is her joy to come alongside others to assist them in their life journey.


Tina Brackeen

MSW, LCSW, BCPCC

Tina is a licensed clinical social worker and board certified professional Christian counselor. She loves to counsel couples, adults experienceing grief, and women. Tina is also our Pre-Marital Counselor on staff. Outside of work, she loves to stay busy with her grandchildren!


Pam Cheek

MAMFC, LPC

Pam is a licensed professional counselor. Her Bachelor's degree is in social work from TCU and Master's degree is in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pam is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. She is also a certified prepare/enrich counselor for pre-marital and marital counseling. She specializes in marriage counseling and individuals with anxiety, addictions, anger management, sexual issues, women's issues, grief/loss, and spiritual counseling.


Dr. Dan Clement

Psychologist, LMFT, LPC-S

Dr. Clement is a licensed minister, psychologist, marriage and family therapist, and LPC-S in Texas with over 30 years of experience in helping individuals, couples and families in turmoil. He works with a wide range of issues by identifying a way out of the old patterns and building a new and blessed life through specific and repeatable new habits. Whether the issues show up primarily individually, in couples, families or the work place; Dan’s focus is on listening for the steps to build new skills which God will use to overcome the pattern, rather than the issue itself. This approach is most effective when a client/couple or family knows what to do but just can’t find the momentum to do it consistently and with grace.


Dr. Tommy Davis

Dr. Davis holds a PhD in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine from the University of North Texas and a Master of Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He performed his clinical internship at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona and his postdoctoral fellowship in neurology and neuropsychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While his primary area of clinical experience is neurological disorders, he finds it deeply rewarding to provide counsel to individuals in a wide variety of life's struggles.


Elissa Johnson

Supervised by Dr. Dan Clement, Psychologist, LPC-S, LMFT

Elissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and is under the supervision of Dr. Dan Clement. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Human Services from Liberty University in 2013, and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in August 2016. She also received an Advanced Certificate in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in December of 2016.

Elissa has counseled, in English and Spanish and has experience working with issues of abuse, anxiety, cutting, children of divorce, drug use, family and marital issues, and self-worth issues. With God’s help, Elissa is eager to work with others in the process of restoration of hope, healing, and change.


Mark McFaul, MA, LPC Intern

Supervised by Keith Dibble, LPC-S

Mark is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern. He earned a Master of Art in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University in 2013. He has experience working with children, teenagers, couples, and family counseling in areas dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, behavior issues, grief and loss, career development, parenting, and relationships. Mark enjoys working with these groups and is passionate about the craftmanship of Jesus and His handy works through the counseling relationship in restoring relationships, encouraging hope and bringing peace to the broken hearted. The scripture Mark relates most closely to in his service as a Christian counselor is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Mark joined the Impact team in June of 2016.


Elizabeth Parks

MA, LPC

Elizabeth is a licensed professional counselor. She graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family counseling. Elizabeth is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and is a certified prepare/enrich pre-marital and marital counselor. Her counseling experience includes marital and pre-marital counseling, sexual trauma and women’s issues, anxiety and mood disorders, spiritual counseling, and support for children whose families are in recovery from divorce and alcohol/drug addiction. She is a wife and mother of three who loves to walk alongside persons who are seeking help with healing and wholeness.


Enjole Powell

MACC, LPC

Enjole is a licensed professional counselor. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Texas Tech University and has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. Enjole is also a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she earned a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling. Enjole, the daughter of a minister, believes her mission is to help others by promoting a process of change that not only brings healing and guidance, but provides people with a more functional and constructive way of living. She works within a biblical Christian worldview and uses cognitive behavioral interventions to promote healing.


Tonya Trentham

MS, LPC, BCPCC

Tonya is a licensed professional counselor and board certified professional Christian counselor. She studied Family Therapy at Texas Woman's University and loves working with families exerpiencing difficulties, hurting marriages, women's issues, and those dealing with grief or the loss of a loved one.


Lou Walleck,

MA, LPC

Lou is a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. She works mainly with children, teens and women. Lou enjoys working with clients through many seasons of life including: adoption and foster care, divorce issues, depression, anxiety and grief. As a mom of three small children, she loves to encourage other moms.

Her passion is to help build strong families and see the Lord bring healing through the counseling process.


Dr. Dana Wicker

Psychologist, BCPCC

Dr. Wicker is a licensed psychologist and a board certified professional Christian counselor. She is also a Professor of Psychology at Dallas Baptist University. Dr. Wicker enjoys working with a multitude of issues including individuals and children.


Kim Peters

Office Manager

Kim joined LABC as a Ministry Assistant to Dr. Laymance in 2004 as he envisioned the start of Impact Counseling. A few years later her title changed to Office Manager but her role has always been to help the ministry run smoothly and help the clients of Impact however possible. What a priviledge she feels it is to watch God at work in the lives of so many hurting people. Outside of Impact, she is married to an awesome man, a mom to two beautiful daughters and their husbands, and "Mimi" to her grandsons. She also enjoys traveling, broadway plays and musicals, gardening and studying God's word.


Carol Harris

Receptionist

Carol joined Impact in September of 2013. Having been employed in previous ministries, Carol realizes the importance of extending love and care to others. Impact is a place where that love and care is extended through professional and spiritual counsel in a Christ-like unconditional way. Carol is a mom of 2 adult sons and a wife of 31 years. She enjoys prayer walks, crafting and being with her family.


Megan Stamper

Receptionist

Megan joined Impact in the Fall of 2014. She is a current student at Dallas Baptist University studying Psychology and Counseling. Megan has always had a love for people and has the desire to reach others through the Christ centered counseling. After receiving her Masters of Arts, Megan would like to use her counseling skills and love of Christ to help the people in East Asia. Megan loves to travel, read, work with children, and watch Netflix with her husband.


Megan Spell

Receptionist

Megan joined Impact in the Fall of 2015. She is a current student at Dallas Baptist University working on her Masters of Counseling degree. Expecting to graduate in the summer of 2017 as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, her heart is to focus on helping families and teens. Megan has spent summers in the mission field both in Indianapolis and Philadelphia where she worked with youth groups and church plants. Originating from Houston, one of the most important things in her life is family, so she loves returning home to spend time with them whenever possible. She also enjoys movies, running/fitness, and time with friends.


Mikayla Pearce

Receptionist

Mikayla joined Impact in the Fall of 2016 and is currently working on her Masters of Professional Counseling degree from Dallas Baptist University. She plans to graduate in 2018 and then become a licensed professional counselor so that she can help women, teenagers, and families find the joy and peace that is found in Christ. Mikayla has spent time in Kenya and loves traveling anywhere she can. In her free time, Mikayla loves to volunteer at her youth group, teach horseback riding lessons, and go hiking.
